Optometrists have a dual role in eye care. We handle both routine care (eyeglasses and contact lenses with a comprehensive examination) as well as office visits to handle medical eye issues (Glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, hypertension, Dry eye syndrome, eye injury, as well as a host of other issues). Because we may run into a medical visit depending upon your health or medications, we will ask for details of your medical coverage and any separate vision plan coverage.
