Dr. Myers is a native of Pennsylvania and completed her BS degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 with a degree in Biology.
She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2018.
After earning her OD degree, she went on to complete her residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2019.
Dr Myers started her career at the Kentucky College of Optometry as an Assistant Professor from 2019-2023 where she taught clinical skills, contact lens, and ocular disease courses as well as worked with students and patients in the clinical setting.
She now specializes at 20/20 Vision Center in specialty designed Scleral Contact lens fittings, Dry Eye and Anterior Segment Disease.
Outside of the office she enjoys public speaking in her profession and has lectured at various continuing education events for optometrists across the country.
Dr Myers is a Fellow of the Americal Academy of Optometry and an active member of the Coastal District Optometric Society, the NC State Optometric Society and the Americal Optometric Association and is on the board of directors of Prevent Blindness NC; a nonprofit health agency whose mission is to prevent blindness and preserve sight through direct services and programs, education and advocacy.
Dr. Myers resides in Chocowinity, NC with her husband and daughter.
